WeAre Home Educators (WHE) is a support group for homeschooling families in Weare and the surrounding towns. We welcome veteran homeschoolers as well as those who are considering homeschooling for the first time.
We provide opportunities for our children to participate in a wide range of activities. Our events (field trips, classes, holiday parties) are held weekly on Wednesday afternoons. This time is designed to allow moms/dads and children to form lasting friendships. WHE also offers public speaking events throughout the year. WHE simply supports Homeschooling... Come participate in a relaxed, friendly environment, as your schedule permits.

To receive emails about homeschooling news, legal issues, and upcoming events, sign up for the WHE mailing list. The WHE list encompasses a large number of homeschoolers throughout our area, not limited to participants in our group. If your interest in our group is just to stay informed about homeschool issues, then the WHE mailing list will accomplish that purpose for you. Signing up for the mailing list will also give you a means to communicate with other homeschoolers on the list.
If you are interested in joining our group, we ask that you join us via participation first. Most of our events are open to all homeschoolers. You do not have to be a member to participate in our events. Feel free to peruse the events we are sponsoring and sign up for those that interest you. After we have had a chance to meet you, we will allow you to become a member of our group and a registered user of this website. Members of our group will have the opportunity to discuss homeschooling and family issues in a closed community that will be moderated by the group coordinator. If a member contributes items that are deemed inappropriate, the member will be warned and the content removed.
